Well - Rebirth - Pose a Riddle
the haibanes are all searching for rakka outside in the snow, while rakka sits at the bottom of the well and wonders about the crow. she thinks the crow was protecting her, but she can't remember who it was. there is a ringing from above, and a tooga appears at the top of the well, and then walks away. she shouts that the steps crumbled and she can't climb out, and yells at them to get her out. then two tooga members appear, and one slides down on a rope, and signals to rakka to climb up on his shoulder. after she and the tooga gets out, she tells them a haibane went over the wall, and asks them if kuu is alright. they walk away, leaving her there with her swollen ankle. she hobbles around for a bit, falls in a puddle, and eventually reaches the wall. she hears kuu's laughter, and leans against the wall. she pulls away from the freezing wall and sees washi, who says she's not allowed to touch the wall. he lends her his staffy cane, and as they walk through the woods she tells him she saw a dead bird at the bottom of the well, and that it showed her the true meaning of her dream, and she thinks she caused its death, but it tried to save her when she was falling. she asks washi to take her to where she belongs, because this place is too happy for her, and she wants to apologize to the person she hurt. washi tells her a riddle about sins, and rakka says if her dream is true, then she is a sinner. blah blah, they get out of the woods and rakka sees reki, who runs up to her and feels how cold her hands are. she asks if she touched the wall, rakka says yes, reki freaks out, and drives reki back to old home. as rakka is in that fever coma state again, reki looks at her wings and seems jealous that they are no longer spotted. rakka tells kana to go get medicine, and hikari asks reki why she knows so much, but nemu stops her and leads her out of the room. later, rakka wakes up to find reki cleaning her hands, and is reminded of how reki cared for her the night her wings grew. rakka says she keeps feeling lighter, and doesn't want to disappear. reki tells her not to worry, and that she can stay. when rakka is back to sleep, reki looks depressed again. reki goes back to her room and says not even rakka needs her anymore, and there is nothing to be depressed about. she says she is getting used to being alone, and walks into her dark studio.
